Information of future changes of climate is crucial for adaptation planning to minimize the impact of future climate change. Adaptation planning in various water-related sectors would depend on the understanding of how the rainfall patterns change in the coming decades, driven by increasing GHG. The data from the multi-model simulations from CORDEX–SEA experiment. The simulations were carried out by a consortium of many institutions from Southeast Asia region. The rainfall change maps were made using the data produced by ensemble of multi-GCMs driven multi-RCMs downscaling experiments of CORDEX-SEA simulations. The changes are the differences between the future periods (mid-21st century and end-of-21st century) and the historical period (1986-2005). The changes are computed for different seasons to account for seasonal variations and also on the annual basis. The datasets are used in IPCC AR6’s WG1 Report (Chapter ATLAS) and can also be viewed from the IPCC Interactive Atlas (https://interactive-atlas.ipcc.ch/regional-information).
