Information of future changes of temperature is crucial input to adaption planning for various climate-sensitive sectors, e.g. agriculture, health, tourism, water resources etc. The degree of warming depend on locations and also the considered scenarios (RCP 4.5 vs. 8.5). Projection of how warm it can change at specific locations, driven by different GHG scenario is crucial to device mitigation and adaptation planning to minimize the impact of climate change. However, the changes depend on the GHG scenarios and also local processes. The data used is from the multi-model simulation experiment of CORDEX–SEA. The simulations were carried out by a consortium of many institutions from Southeast Asia. The temperature change maps were made using the data produced by ensemble of multi-GCMs driven multi-RCMs downscaling experiments of CORDEX-SEA simulations. The changes are the differences between the future periods (mid-21st century and end-of-21st century) and the historical period (1986-2005). The changes are computed for different seasons to account for seasonal variations and also on the annual basis. The datasets are used in IPCC AR6’s WG1 Report (Chapter ATLAS) and can also be viewed from the IPCC Interactive Atlas (https://interactive-atlas.ipcc.ch/regional-information).
