On 11 March 2025, the MyIKLIM team was invited to speak at the Short-Term Mobility Programme: Innovative Solutions – SDGs and Sustainability in Malaysia, organized by UKM Global. Represented by Nur Izzati Zaini and Dr. Maggie Ooi Chel Gee, the team delivered a session on “SDG 13: Climate Action,” emphasizing the urgent need for sustainable solutions and data-driven decision-making in tackling climate change.

During the session, participants engaged in a mind-mapping activity to explore the four levels of climate action: Policy, Implementation, Corporate & Organizational, and Community & Individual. Through this exercise, students explored the challenges and solutions at each level, from creating and enforcing policies to sustainable business practices and local community efforts.

The session, attended by students and lecturers from Kansai University, Japan, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, United States, provided a platform for cross-cultural discussions on climate resilience and sustainability. The session provided valuable insights and fostered meaningful discussions on climate action at multiple levels.
