The 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Institute of Climate Change (IPI) and UKM Earth Day 2024, organized by the Institute of Climate Change in collaboration with UKM Strategy Center and the Earth and Space Science Alumni Association (ESSA), was officially launched by the Deputy Secretary General (Natural Resources and Environment) of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Datuk Nor Yahati Awang on 30th April 2024. In addition, she also launched the EMC Data Repository, IPI Strategic Plan 2023-2025, as well as the IPI Journal.

The event was also attended by the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Strategy and Nationality, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Roslee Rajikan; IPI Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaini Sakawi; Chairman of Bangi Industry Administrative Association, Dato’ Kris Foo Yin Choo; Head of Environmental Management Center, Assoc. Prof. Ir Dr Wan Hanna Melini Wan Mohtar and Ms. Zie Fazleen Hashim as the Program Director.

Datuk Nor Yahati Awang also consented to visit the exhibition booths including MyIKLIM presented by Prof. Dr. Mohd. Nizam Said from Institute of Climate Change, IPI.
