During the Sime Darby Young Innovators Challenge (SDYIC) 2025, MyIKLIM and the UKM–YSD Chair for Sustainability held a joint exhibition at Dewan Tun Abdullah Mohd. Salleh (DTAMS), UKM to showcase their projects to visitors, especially school students. The displays allowed students and the public to learn more about climate action initiatives and explore innovative solutions.

At the same event, the Sime Darby Young Innovators Challenge (SDYIC) 2025 is an annual program open to registered secondary schools in Malaysia, encouraged students to develop creativity and problem-solving skills through making and innovation. Each team, consisting of 2–3 students (who can be from different schools within the same state) and aged 17 years and below, received guidance from teachers, mentors, and organizers to tackle real-life problems using open-source hardware and software.

The top 15 teams nationwide participate in the SDYIC National Camp & National Championship, learning directly from industry experts and developing strategies to promote STEM initiatives in their communities. More information about the event and the program is available on the SDYIC website.
