The 6th Sustainability Challenge 2025 (SC2025), themed “Advancing Towards Decarbonization for a Sustainable Future,” was organised by CESPRO, JKKP, and the UKM–YSD Chair for Sustainability as a platform to drive innovation and knowledge sharing in support of Malaysia’s sustainability goals. 

This year, the event brought together 150 participants from 54 groups, representing universities across Malaysia and abroad, as well as industry partners including SD Guthrie Plantation Sdn Bhd, SWCorp, and Indah Water Konsortium. SC2025 featured two competition categories; Higher Education Students and Professionals/Academic.

The exhibition featured four participating companies consists of Green Horizon Global Sdn Bhd, CESPRO, the UKM–YSD Chair for Sustainability, and ALAF-UKM to showcase their innovative products, technologies, and sustainability-driven services.

The programme was sponsored by Green Horizon Global Sdn Bhd (Main Sponsor), Yayasan Hasanah, Forte Greenergy Sdn Bhd, the UKM–YSD Chair for Sustainability, and the Advanced Semiconductor Academy of Malaysia (ASEM).
