Kem Sehari Skuad Palma Emas is a yearly programme targeting children aged 9 to 12 years old. Modules entitled Biological Diversity in the Oil Palm Ecosystem and Activity Book Biological Diversity in the Oil Palm Ecosystem have been produced by two teams of research projects that are from Oil Palm Ecological Restoration and Agro Ecosystem Services Inventory (OPERASI) [ZF-2013-011] and a team of Module Development for Children (ZF-2014-001). The camp and modules are integrating theoretical contents and supporting tools in educational modules on oil palm biodiversity to facilitate learning and appreciation in very young students.
Video of the programme can be found on Youtube entitled “Kem Sehari Skuad Palma Emas”. PINTAR Foundation is the collaborator from 2017 until 2019.
